We keep this simple. We collect only what we need to send you your books, answer your messages, and deliver the bonuses you ask for. We don't sell your information.

This policy covers acupofzen.store and thezenstoryteller.com (together, the "Site"), operated by Omen Publishing LLC ("we," "us," "our"), publisher of Kai Tsukimi's books. By using the Site you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us.

• Orders: when you buy a book, you enter your name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number (optional), and payment details on a secure checkout run by Shopify. We receive your order and shipping details. We never see or store your full card number.
• Bonus sign-ups: if you scan the QR code in your book to claim the Zen Clarity Kit, you give us your name and email address.
• Messages: if you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, order number (if you include it), and whatever you choose to write.

Information collected automatically. Like almost every website, our hosting provider records basic technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you request, and the time of your visit. We use this only to keep the Site running and secure.

The Site itself does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. The checkout buttons are provided by Shopify and may set cookies needed to run your cart and checkout.

2. How we use your information

• To process, ship, and track your order, and to send order confirmations.
• To deliver the Zen Clarity Kit and, if you signed up for it, occasional emails with stories and news about new books. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To answer your questions and handle returns or problems with an order.
• To prevent fraud, keep the Site secure, and meet our legal and tax obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need to do their job:

• Shopify: checkout, payments, and order management. See Shopify's Privacy Policy.
• Printing and shipping partners: to print, pack, and deliver your books to the address you give us.
• Our email provider: to send the Zen Clarity Kit and any emails you've signed up for.
• Netlify: hosts the Site, processes visit logs, and receives contact form messages so they can be forwarded to us by email.
• Google Fonts: serves the Site's typefaces, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. See Google's Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a sale or merger of our business. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Links to other sites

Some links take you to Amazon, Audible, or other sites to buy or review our books. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we're not responsible for how they handle your information.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for shipping, customer support, accounting, and tax purposes. We keep your email subscription until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

6. Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time with the link at the bottom of any email. Depending on where you live (for example California, other U.S. states, the EU, or the UK), you may also have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Object to or restrict certain uses of it, or withdraw consent you've given.
• Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we don't do either).

To make any of these requests, email us at the address below. We'll respond within the time the law requires, and we won't treat you differently for using your rights. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Security

Payments are processed by Shopify on PCI-compliant systems, and the Site is served over encrypted HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. International visitors

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process your information in the U.S. or other countries, where data protection laws may differ from those where you live.

9. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
